Energy efficiency

In 1994 we were the first company to install Balearic a cogeneration plant, taking all the heat for drying the bricks. In 2000 we installed a new cogeneration plant that uses all the thermal energy produced in the drying and pre-bake. Most of the electricity produced is for subsistence of our machinery.

Since 2005, we abandon the idea of continuing to use liquid fuels and begin the transformation of all natural gas facilities, this will install an LNG plant with a capacity of 1,000 m³ / h becoming the first company to supply Natural gas in the Balearics. In the following years become all combustion plants for the use of this fuel, resulting in a significant improvement in overall energy savings of our facilities.

Since 2009 we have the certification of energy management system according to the UNE 216,301 the following year rises to European Standard UNE-EN 16001:2010, this way we ensure the continuous improvement of our facilities and production systems, promoting managing the energy efficiency of our company.
